Notes: Contains Pinot Gris from the lieu dit Bruch, located on the lower slopes of the Grand Cru Altenberg de Wolxheim in full southern exposure. The marl of the Keuper contains primarily plant material dominated by cypress-like conifers and is thick in clay deposits.
A select blend of Pinot Gris bunches from the above Bruch and Wolxheim village, vinified together. Juice-forward and sociable, with touches of herbal and tannin adding complexity without distraction. An easy-drinking go-to that can readily stand up to (or in between) food pairings.
