2022 Domaine in Black 'Mariage plus vieux' Sylvaner/Gewurztraminer

A blend of sylvaner (from 60 year old vines) and gewurztraminer (from 30 year old vines), from a single parcel  Gewurztraminer is destemmed before macerating in the juice of the sylvaner for an extended period.

Winemaker Lambert Spielmann's winery is located in the village of Saint Pierre in Alsace, France. He's been certified organic since 1997 and also works with biodynamics principles on his two hectares of vineyards. No fining, filtration or additions in any of the wines.
